Power Cores Complete Guide| Marvel Super War

 




After reading this Guide you will be able to customize your own Hero Power Cores according to your playstyle. My motive of making this Guide is to help all players. I have seen many players making mistake of using wrong cores on wrong Heroes, especially the Bestial Boost which is must for all Junglers.


(A) Cosmic Vortex – When using skills to attack enemies, creates a cosmic vortex at the target’s location which deals damage for 1.5 sec [8 sec cd]

Tips:

1)      It should be used by Energy Heroes and support as they are skill dependent. But some Marksman like Vision (Skill 2) and Yondu (his basic attack is considered skill) can also use it.

2)      You can use it to check enemies in bush which will allow you to check if enemies are in bush or not. Just target you skills in bush and if you see the vortex appearing that means there is someone in bush.


(B)  Unstable Radiation – If you hit enemy hero with 2 different basic attack or skill, it will mark them and your next attack will explode the mark and deal damage [16 sec cd]

Tips:

1)      Keep this in mind, it activates only when you hit enemies with skills and basic attack both. If you hit enemy with only basic attack or only skills it won’t activate.

2)      If you are using it on Marksman they use your 1st use basic attack then a skill and then again basic attack. Remember to hit enemy with skills. E.g. Vision Skill 2, Gambit Skill 2, Hawkeye Skill 1, etc. It is not preferred to be used by Yondu.

3)      This is best to Power Core to be used by Fighter, Assassin and Support. Though there are some Energy Hero that can use it like Luna Snow, Hela, etc.

4)      You’ll see a Green Mark on the head of enemy, to see when it’s triggered. This is the best power core to use it as poke damage on enemies.

 

 

(C)  Psionic Mark – After 4 sec entering into the combat, you deal heavy damage (5% of Max HP) and also gains a shield (5% of Max HP) that blocks damage. (This effect is halved for ranged Heroes)

Tips:

1)      This is best Power Core to be used by frontline Heroes such as Tank, Fighters and Support. Or those Heroes who are building Max HP in build items.

2)      To activate its effect or ‘entering into combat’ term means you need to deal or take damage first and it only deals enhanced damage after when you hit enemy Hero and then give you shield.

3)      The good thing about this power core is that it has very low cool down i.e. 4 sec. So it will keep on activating till you are in the fight.

 

 

(D) Swift Pummel – When hitting enemy Hero with 3 basic attacks or skills within 3 sec will grant you 65% attack speed boost for 3 sec. [10 sec cd]

Tips:

1)      As it gives you extra attack speed for a short time, which gives you make room for an extra item by not buying 1 attack speed item.

2)      This Power Core is best on Marksman, assassins and other Heroes who may need attack speed like Hela, Blade, etc.

 

(E)  Heart of the Defender – When using healing or shielding skill on a teammate, the next basic attach of both of you will deal enhanced damage [12 sec cd]

Tips:

1)      This Power Core should only be used by Support Heroes, which provide Shield or Healing to their teammates (unlike Groot). The only exception is Heimdall as he provides shield from Skill 3 and Healing from Ultra Skill to teammates.

2)      With this Power Core you can lane very aggressive in early game, with that enhanced damage.

 

(F)  Time Lag – When dealing 25% or more damage of the enemy’s HP within 2 sec, they are slowed by 80% for 2 sec. This slow effect decays overtime. [12 sec cd (on same target)]

Tips:

1)      This Power Core is better suited to use by Heroes (especially assassins) who lack Crowd Control or slow down skills, as 80% slowdown is huge.

2)      It can also be used by burst damage Heroes like Dr. Strange, Storm, Black Panther, etc.

 

 

 


 

Set – 1 Action Particle Program

 

1)      Strike Particle:

All damage to enemies will be increased by 4% when HP drops below 70%.

Tips:

This core is good for solo laners and also for squishy Heroes, as there HP will go down easily.

This core allows you to play aggressive.

 

2)      Berserker Particle:

Permanently Increases your Physical Attack by 7 and Armor Penetration by 2% or Energy Attack by 14 and Energy Penetration by 2%.

Tips:

This core helpful in early game, but as the game goes on it won’t be helpful because the additional stats you get from this core will remain same throughout the Game.

Though it is helpful on Assassins, Junglers and Fighters.

 

3)      Suppression Particle:

After being slowed by abilities, the target will take an additional 5% damage for 5 sec.

Tips:

This core is good on Heroes who have slow down skills. As it’ll allow you to deal extra damage. During laning phase it’ll be a good poke damage on them.

 

4)      Transform Particle:

Hero KO’s immediately restore 12% missing HP and 12% EP, while assists recover only half, i.e. 6%.

Tips:

This core is best to use on Assassin and jungler Heroes. This core will help you fight multiple enemies. It provides a good amount of sustain in fights.

You can also use this on support and tank Heroes.


 

Set – 2 Strength Module Program


1)      Repair Device:

Restores 3% of lost HP or EP every 3 seconds, prioritising whichever is lower.

Tips:

This core is very helpful, it’ll help you take less recalls to base.

This core can also help you buy less items, which are Arc Reactor and Megingjord.

It is very good on Energy Heroes and best on Heroes who don’t have EP bar so you’ll recover only HP. In late game this core is equivalent to Megingjord.

 

2)      Enhancement Module:

Increases you Max HP by 100.

Tips:

This core is only helpful is early game as the stats remain same throughout the match.

It is good to use on Tank or  Heroes whose skill damage depends on Max HP.

 

3)      Protection Module:

Grants a 3 increase to Dual Resistance every 60 sec. KOing enemies increases the speed at which you receive this buff. Dual Resistance can be increased to 10 times and the 10th time will increase by an additional 8%. So the total Dual Resistance is 30 + 2.4, i.e. 32 approximately.

Tips:

Dual Resistance means both Physical and Energy Defence. The max stack will be 32.

You’ll get it buy either kills or after every minute. To max out the buff you need to get kills to achieve it earlier or else wait for 10 mins.

This core is not recommended to Tanks and frontline Heroes. Even junglers and assassins can also use it.

 

4)      Resistance Module:

Reduces the duration of next crowd control effect used on you by 45%. (10 sec cool down)

Tips:

This item is good on Fighter and Assassin Heroes.

Also use Upgraded Hydra Boots with this core, it’ll give you further 30% reduction in crowd control. Making it total of 75% then even the Mantis Ultra Skill won’t feel like CC.

 


Set – 3 Combat Boost Program

 

1)      Vitality Boost:

Leveling up restores an additional 75(+10*Lvl) HP and 50(+8*Lvl) EP.

Tips:

This core will help you a lot in early game. You will not have to take recall and play aggressive in lane when you see you are about to level up.

It can be used by any Hero who are week in early Game.

 

2)      Spellcast Boost:

Permanently confers a 1-10% cool down reduction (reaching to maximum at Lvl.18). Every additional 1% over maximum buff strength will be converted into 2 physical attack or 3.3 energy attack. It means you get additional damage for every 1% if you cool down reduction is more than max limit, i.e. above 40%

Tips:

This core is useful for late game, giving you extra 10% cool down reduction when you reach Lvl.18

I like to use Double Daggers (15%) and Strombreaker (15%) to get 30% cool down reduction and later getting 10% from core to get max limit of cool down reduction.

By using this core you can also use 1 less cool down reduction item and buy some other item.

If you manage to get Blue buff over your max limit which gives extra 20% cool down reduction you’ll get some insane damage.

 

3)      Agility Boost:

Movement Speed increases by 20 upon exiting combat and upon entering combat movement increases by 40 for 3 seconds.

Tips:

This core is very useful for Heroes who lack mobility or blink skills.

It is also useful on Tank Heroes.

Though use it on Black Knight always to have more damage because of his passive.

 

4)      Bestial Boost:

Buffs obtained from monsters are prolonged by 30 % while damage tanken from monsters is reduced by 13(+1*Lvl).

Tips:

This core is must for jungler Heroes, it’ll help you jungle more efficiently and also take objectives like Surtur and Avatar of Bast alone.

It prolongs all the buffs from monsters which include Blue, Red, Surtur and Avatar of Bast.
