How to Counter Ghost Rider?| Marvel Super War

 In this Guide video I'll tell you different ways on how to counter Ghost Rider. 

How to position yourself, how to build items, what heroes to pick and other things.

So let's start with how to counter any Hero in Game. It means that ultimately you want to kill that Hero and also not dying in the process. There are 2 common things to counter any Hero in Game. These are:

1) Crowd Control (CC): 

Crowd Control is a state when your Hero is not able to move or cast any skills. The effects that leads to CC are stun, knock up, knock back, etc. So if you are able to CC a Hero then it is easier for you to kill him. But for Ghost Rider it won't work if he is using his Ultra Skill as he is immune to CC when riding his bike. So we'll use the 2nd option.

2) Hight Burst Damage (or DPS):

If you are able to deal a lot of damage in less time is burst damage and DPS means Damage Per Second, generally with basic attack.

Examples of High Burst Damage is Dr. Strange Ultra Skill, Strom Ultra Skill, etc. 

Examples of DPS are mainly Marksman Hero such as Hawkeye, Gambit, etc.

So if you use these Heroes you can easily kill Ghost Rider easily. 

While using High Burst Damage heroes you need to save your skills and aim them properly when Ghost Rider comes.

For DPS heroes, you need to try to die less and farm more so you get items to kill the Ghost Rider.

How to position yourself when playing against Ghost Rider.

When against Ghost Rider you need to pay extra attention to your mini map and see if he is missing or using his Ultra Skill. Because if he is coming you need to escape and get inside your turret or hide in a bush. But if you are not able to do both then better get a little away from your teammate or the one with with low HP teammate. So you all don't get hit by his skill combo. As Ghost Rider play will try to hit his Skill 1 to as many players as possible.

How to build items when playing against Ghost Rider.

If you are a Physical damage Hero then best item to buy will be Immortal Glaive. Its passive will help you to survive once against his damage. 

If you are a Energy damage Hero then best item to buy is Eye of Aggamotto. Its passive will make you untargetable for a short time so use it wisely and remember it has 45 seconds cool down.

But if you are satisfied with your damage and want to buy a proper defence item then buy Captain America Shield. It gives you Armor, Max HP and its passive to reduce the damage taken overtime.

Don't forget to buy Hydra Boots (Armor Boots) in the beginning late when you have the above mentioned items, then you can change it to some other boots.

Now most importantly buy penetration item because when Ghost Rider uses his Ultra Skill he get dual resistance. It'll help you kill him easily. For Physical Damage user any of these Gungnir, Strombreaker or Double Daggers. For Energy Damage users Loki's Scepter and Martyr's Boots.

What Tactic to use when against Ghost Rider

I highly recommend to use Blink, Paralyze and Dispel as your tactic. 

Blink will help you to change positioning.

Paralyze will help you to take reduced damage from him.

Dispel will help you to get immunity against his Skill 1 CC, so on your DPS Heroes this will be essential.

Using First Aid is fine, but it won't give you much of healing to survive if the Ghost Rider is on full damage build.

Using Accelerate will be waste as his Bike will always be faster than you running 😂

Which Heroes to pick when against Ghost Rider.

When picking squishy Heroes your priority pick should be Heroes who have immunity to CC, damage reduction or good escaping skills (blink skills) available. Blink skills will allow you to better position yourself, as you can move through but Ghost Rider cannot.

Energy Heroes:

Dr. Strange:

When you see Ghost Rider coming towards you, immediately use your Skill 1 on yourself, due to this you will recover your lost HP.

Other thing that you can do is, use Skill 1 on Ghost Rider now you know he'll  come back there in short time, so use your Ultra Skill timely + Skill 2 and you can burst down him there.

Hela:

When Hela uses he Ultra Skill she gets damage reduction which will allow her to survive against Ghost Rider skill combo. Plus she also has good DPS damage with Skill 1 and Skill 2 combo, with Skill 2 she can easily recover her HP back also.

Mysterio:

Mysterio is in this list because he can escape from Ghost Rider easily with his Skill 2 and Skill 3. He can also confuse him by using his Ultra Skill on him.

Ironaman:

If Ironman has good map awareness he can use his Skill 3 when he sees Ghost Rider approaching and use it to change positioning and then use his Ultra Skill to kill him. He can also chase Ghost Rider with his Skill 3 if he seen Ghost Rider is escaping with low HP.

Marksman Heroes:

Hawkeye:

Hawkeye may not stand much against Ghost Rider in early game but from mid to late game if he dodges his Skill 1 he can easily make Ghost Rider low or kill him.

As Hawkeye Ultra Skill makes him untargetable, use it wisely to position yourself.

Gambit:

I think Gambit is the best Marksman to go against Ghost Rider because of high DPS burst damage, 2 blink skills and immunity CC & damage when using Ultra Skill.

Starlord:

Starlord is another best Marksman to counter Ghost Rider, as his Skill 2 allows him to escape quickly. But even if he gets caught he can use his Skill 1 which keeps attacking enemy even if Starlord is under any CC. Then with Starlord Ultra Skill going on it is hard to initiate or turret dive on him.

Not only this but Starlord can also chase and kill the escaping Ghost Rider with low HP.

Vision:

With Vision Skill 1 he can get immune to CC of Ghost Rider and change his positioning. Plus Vision also has burst damage from his Ultra Skill to kill Ghost Rider if aimed properly.

Though you can use other Marksman, as all have high DPS in late game but be careful of your positioning and die less.

Support Heroes:

Invisible Woman:

Because of the shield of Invisible Woman from Skill 1, she can generate shield for many teammates. It'll give a little sustain to you in order to survive Ghost Rider combo.

Pixie:

In same way shield from Skill 3 of Pixie with help you survive.

Above mentioned support Heroes are best as they can give shield to multiple teammates. Other than that, Cloak & Dagger and Mantis are also good picks.

There are no tank Heroes that will be able to protect you because Ghost Rider is immune to CC effect when riding bike that's why Support Heroes are better picks or else you need to be good at positioning. Only Namor is an exception.

Namor:

Namor Ultra Skill can actually trap Ghost Rider inside it. Then he won't be able to increase his movement speed and hence not able to use Skill 1 for CC.

Other Heroes:

Mr. Fantastic:

Mr. Fantastic Ultra Skill on Ghost Rider can help you chase him, if timed it correctly when he is about to run out of Ultra Skill. But this can be risky also.

Magik: 

Magik Ultra Skill can trap him in other dimension. So when you see him coming either trap him them, to save your teammates or you can trap him when his Ultra Skill is about to finish, when he is going back.

Other Heroes with good chasing abilities like Beast, Spiderman and Black Knight can be used to kill him.

Other Things to do when playing against Ghost Rider.

1) Build Items:

You need to see build items of Ghost Rider what he is building. If he is building damage then you definitely need to avoid him, but if he is building tank then you can take on his damage and don't forget to buy penetration items. 

2) Cooldown:

Notice how much cooldown is on Ghost Rider Ultra Skill. As if he has less cool down you need to use your some skills carefully like Blink tactic, Eye of Aggamotto, etc.

3) Yellow Meter:

If you carefully notice there is a meter below HP bar of Ghost Rider, it'll tell you how much time left for his Ultra Skill. If you see the bar is above half then play very defensive.

But if the bar is very low and about to end then play aggressive as you know Ghost Rider is not much of threat without his Ultra Skill.

4) Notice Map:

Always notice the lane of Ghost Rider, if he is missing for a long time, you should clear the road for him or accidents may happen 😂

5) Skill Usage:

If you have any CC skills, you better not use it because Ghost Rider is immune to CC. So Tanks and Support Heroes don't waste your skills on him when he is riding bike. Better save it to use on other Heroes or when is not riding.
